Configuring Microsoft Outlook Express 5

1. Open Microsoft Outlook Express.
2. On the menu bar, select "Tools".
3. Select "Accounts...".

   

   
   

4. Select the "Mail" tab.
5. Click on the "Add" button.

    

6. Select "Mail..." from the menu. 
7. Enter your full name in the "Display name:" text box.
8. Click on the "Next >" button.

   

9. Enter your full e-mail address in the "E-mail address:" text box.
10. Click on the "Next >" button.

    

11. Select "POP3" from the drop-down list box. 
12. Enter mail.yourdomain.com in the "Incoming mail server:" text box. 
13. Enter mail.yourdomain.com in the "Outgoing mail server:" text box.
     ***IMPORTANT*** we suggest for you to use your current Internet Service Provider's outgoing e-mail server, whenever possible.
14. Click on the "Next >" button. 

    

    
    

15. Enter your full e-mail address in the "Account name" text box.
16. Enter your e-mail password in the "Password" text box.
17. Click the check box "Remember password". NOTE: If you forget your password, any mail in your mailbox will be lost when your password is re-set!
18. Click on the "Next >" button. 

    

19. Click on the Finish button to save your settings. 

    

You have completed setting the configurations for Outlook Express 5 and can now access your e-mail account.
