Configuring Microsoft Outlook 2000 (Full Version)

1. Open Microsoft Outlook 2000.
2. On the menu bar, select "Tools".
3. Select "Services" ("Accounts..." in Outlook 2000 'email only' version)

   

   
   

4. Select the "Internet E-mail -xxxxx" and double-click on it to open the properties. (if that is not an option, click the  "Add" button and select "Internet E-mail" from the list.

    

5. Fill out your specific information, just like the example screen below. So fill out your name, your company name and your email address.

    

6. Select the "Servers" tab, and fill out the empty fields as described below.
7. Enter mail.yourdomain.com in the "Incoming mail server:" text box. 
8. Enter mail.yourdomain.com in the "Outgoing mail server:" text box.
    ***IMPORTANT*** we suggest for you to use your current Internet Service Provider's outgoing e-mail server, whenever possible.
9. Of course you need to use your own full email address and password in, respectively, the "Account name" and "Password" boxes.

   

10. Select the "Appropriate" tab, based on your type of connectivity. 

    

11. Click the "OK" button.
12. And you click the "OK" button on the "Services" tab.

You have completed setting the configurations for Outlook 2000 and can now access your e-mail account.
